Travel with purpose. Support through presence.
Nepal invites us to travel differently.
This six-day journey moves through Kathmandu, Pokhara and a traditional village homestay, creating space to experience the beauty, culture and warmth of Nepal while supporting the people and communities who make this place what it is.
There will be local food, shared experiences, time in the mountains, sound and wellbeing experiences, and opportunities to connect with the people and places that make Nepal so special.
For us, supporting Nepal starts with simply being there.
By staying locally, eating locally, working with local guides and businesses, and spending within the communities we visit, our journey contributes directly to the people who make it possible.
This is a shorter Still Journey, but not a rushed one. It has been created for travellers who want to experience Nepal with curiosity and connection, while knowing their journey is also contributing directly to local recovery and community support.
100% of Still Journeys’ net profit from these departures will be donated to Nepal relief and recovery efforts.
Direct trip costs and reasonable operating expenses are covered first, with the remaining profit directed toward supporting recovery.

You want to experience Nepal without committing to a longer journey.
You value meaningful local connection as much as sightseeing.
You want your travel spending to contribute to the communities you visit.
You enjoy culture, nature, sound and gentle adventure.
You like travelling within a small group but still value personal space.
You’re curious, respectful and open to experiencing Nepal on its own terms.
You don’t need to be...
an experienced meditator
extremely fit
an extrovert
comfortable joining every activity
Each experience is an invitation, never an expectation. You’re free to join in, step back or simply follow your own rhythm.
Pace + physical requirements
Walking
Expect regular walking through cities, villages and natural landscapes.
Terrain
There may be uneven paths, stairs and surfaces that require steady footing.
Altitude
Some parts of the journey take place at higher elevation, and we’ll move at a considered pace.
Flexibility
Where possible, there will be opportunities to opt out of certain activities or take things more slowly.
This journey includes a mix of city exploring, gentle walking, uneven terrain, steps and time spent at altitude. Some days will involve more movement than others, with slower periods built in throughout the journey.
If you’re unsure whether the journey is right for you physically, we’re always happy to talk it through before you book.
The people behind the journey
Still Journeys is shaped by the people who bring each experience to life, from those travelling alongside you to the local guides, hosts and collaborators who help us experience a place more deeply.
Skip | Journey Co-Host
Skip brings a grounded background in outdoor leadership and many years of guiding group travel, particularly across Aotearoa New Zealand. She has a natural way of helping people feel at ease, and brings warmth, humour and clarity to the practical rhythm of travelling together. Her approach is centred around connection, nature and allowing enough space to genuinely experience a place rather than rushing through it.
Tabby | Sound + Journey Facilitator
With more than two decades of experience in sound healing, facilitation and therapeutic work, Tabby brings depth, warmth and a deeply grounded presence to the journey. She has facilitated workshops, retreats and trainings across Australia, Bali and Nepal, and weaves sound, meditation and reflective practices into the experience in a way that feels gentle, accessible and never compulsory.
Mish | Journey Co-Host
Mish brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to Still Journeys, drawing on her experience in breathwork, nature connection and photography. She has a natural eye for the quieter details of a place and helps shape journeys that balance soft adventure with space to slow down, reconnect and take things in. Her role is to support the overall flow of the experience while creating room for travellers to move through it in a way that feels personal and unforced.
Anil | Homestay Host & Musician
Anil welcomes Still Journeys guests into his home, sharing a genuine glimpse into everyday life in Nepal. A talented musician, he brings people together for a special evening of traditional music during our stay. Alongside his wife and mum, Anil opens the door to family life, shared meals and conversation, with the opportunity to learn Nepali cooking together. It’s a warm, personal experience shaped by music, food, family and genuine connection.
